The Lexi is a great little cinema in Kensal Rise, London NW10, the area in which I live.

Like many other independents, they were caught in a perfect storm of lockdown closures and the rise

of the streaming platforms, resulting in a serious drop off in bums on seats.

They asked if I could help and so I created a poster campaign to remind people about The Lexi

and why great films will always be better experienced at the cinema.

All the artists we commissioned live locally and because The Lexi is a non-proift,

charitable enterprise, worked for free.

The campaign ran with a different poster up for two weeks every month for 5 months

on billboards around the Lexi catchment area.

We were also asked to create a campaign for The Lexi’s membership offer which is such a ridiculously

good deal that even some of film’s most brainless characters would see it.
